Ulrich Hartmann was born in 1978 and as a child, his mother would say, he was always creative. He draws and paints regularly and in 1996 began a career in graphic design. Per chance in 2000, he discovered his love for photography and decided to continue moving in this direction. After a long period of self-education, Ulrich completed an internship in Hamburg with Frank Wartenberg.
In 2006, he moved to Berlin and founded Ulrich Hartmann photography, a people and fashion based photography studio. Ulrich has worked with a wide variety of magazines and creative agencies and his work is always inspired by his love for the arts.
