Born and raised in the north of Sweden in 1979.
Lisa Hasselgren is an up-coming swedish fashion photographer and filmmaker who after studies in traditional black and white photography and fashion photography landed the position as first assistant and retoucher for a noted fashion photographer in Stockholm, Sweden.
She has now been freelancing as a photographer for two years with the base in Stockholm, working for magazines and designers, both swedish & international clients, such as Vouge, Sofifi, Rita Saardi, Lindex, The Shirt Factory, Beyond Retro, People and Hea7en Magazine.
Her often dreamy and old-fashioned poetic images mainly derives from the Northern solicitude, the stillness and the unfulfilled aspiration for the inexplicable, inspired by the past, ancient stories and especially old paintings and portraits, mixed with the inspiration of the present, films, music and musicvideos.
