Ben was born in North Yorkshire in England.
Late in the last decade Ben migrated down to London where he studied a BA in Photography at the London College of Fashion. Since finishing, Ben has been invited back to guest lecture at both the London Institute and Leeds Metropolitan University, on the subjects of fashion and fashion photography.
Ben is predominately a fashion photographer, directing his focus in recent years to Men's fashion for both advertising and editorial work. He is commissioned regularly by magazines such as GQ, Upstreet, Monocle and Tank to name a few.
In a lot of Ben's work, his passion for being a documentarian is very evident. Whether it be his portraiture or landscape work his quest to capture life in its most organic form is very bold. Naturally Ben devotes much of his spare time shooting reportage for projects both editorial and for exhibiting.
Ben has had three solo exhibitions, his forth exhibition will be showing in the summer of 2010 and lives now in London with his girlfriend and their dog Holly.
